Crap my neighbors are hiring a pest control guy cause they think a skunk is under the house... conincedently I happened to harvest half my mini SOG of sour D a few nights before. Well the place where this grow is located and was (stress the was) being dried apparently there are a bunch of ventilation isssues through the vents under the house to the other side of the duplex... I turned my heater on for the rest of the rooms last night as I've done at night for the last several nights... well apparently my forced air heating system forces air around from under the house and forced the smell of dank dank dank sour D over to my neighbors. If this little story isn't enough warning about being careful during all stages of growth take this into account. It's barely over an OZ in there and the neighbors can still smell what they think to be a skunk under the house... a little good dank can stink a LONG way especially after you start the drying process...

Yea the product ended up going to where it's a little more legal... my old lady's out in the boonies. She's medical and we have a perfectly legal grow for her out there but I am in town during the week and grow a little side stash for myself here in town... plus I like to experiment with various strains here see what medical properties could be applied and if there aren't any that are worth it the strain goes by the wayside... if not down to her place in the other growroom.

Partly it's my own fault, I knew how stinky this sour D was but I didn't think I had ventilation issues in my drying room.

I have a ghetto scrubber on my growbox but no I don't have one set up for my drying room I never considered it necessary as I typically only harvest 6 grams a week but I had a bunch of clones get bottlenecked and toss in at the same time leading to them all being chopped down at once and octdrupling my dank factor.

I have two tents and then a closet for my drying room. I just run flex duct and connect them all to my largest tent as air intake.
That way I only need one good filter and fan and power drain for all three.

HAHAHA! Nah I am not too worried I live in a duplex on the north side of a nature preserve once the heat cools down from the supposed "skunk" I'll be doing what I do... and a skunk is believable (luckily) by my location. We got plenty of them around here, hell I feed em occasinally along with other critters whatever comes by... in fact... hrm... buddy maybe it's the reefer but next time I feed one of them suckers I might bait it under my duplex if the animal control dude humanely relocates (as I got enough friggin' critters around here had a damn porcupine last spring. You folks may have an idea...

Get a pet skunk. They are legal and much better thank cats.
Talking of skunks .....

I was going Gold Mining up at the Yuba River this year, arrived at the claim and decided to walk down river an see where my buddies were....

As I was walking down the trail, I lit up a joint, like most miners do.

I see Freddy and I climbed down the hill towards the water, there was an older guy with him (never met him), I had put out the joint to climb down the hill, as I approached this guys says "Did you smell the skunk?"

I said I just stepped on it :bigjoint:walking down here.

HAHAha.... what a good laugh. The funny thing was that the old dude (N.J. Cop) was really clueless.

Back on subject.... Try and get some ONA Gel or Block, works pretty well in conjunction with a carbon filter :weed:

the only good skunk is a dead one....
I am sorry to hear you have had your issue's with critters. Personally I've never had an issue with a critter (wild not domestic) that wasn't my own fault. Respect the critter and know when to steer clear and I at least have gotten along with most anything that comes by here. Thankfully all our bears are up north or down south from here though and thats one critter I can do without having drop by.

I hear wonderful things about ONA gel but never used it myself.
It's OK, but no cure all. When I first started using it, I couldn't smell the weed, but eventually, I was able to smell both the ONA and the weed. O bought a $79 ozone generator recently. It works so well at removing ordors, I have sealed up my ONA for use some other time. I have no intention of trimming in my grow tent, so having the ozone generator in my room is a blessing. They truly kill off the smell..., unlike ONA which only hides or masks it.

Fuck it, keep your mouth shut and say Hmmm I dont know.

Get yourself a carbon filter or ozone or your neighbors might think the skunk came back.

SKUNK.jpg I like them enough to get a tattoo of one! Rough luck with the neighbours though, man. But look at it this way, the thought of a skunk (and their lack of knowledge on the topic) probably kept you from getting looked at too hard. :bigjoint:
