CREE vs Citizen COBs

Equal color and equal wattage are there any compelling reasons to avoid the Citizen? I have read a thousand lines and watched endless videos but I am still torn. Savings are certainly there.

Honestly, just go with the best you can comfortably afford. Of the most used COBs out now, you're not going to see huge differences. Mostly just efficiency. That will keep changing.

I'm happy with my Citizen clu048-1812 cobs.

Cue the technical peeps with all the numbers...

I'm using 1200w of citizen clu048 and they work great. Extra lb at harvest vs what I was getting with 3 600w Hps. And they were only in there the last 30 days. Can't wait to see them through all the way on the next run.

Can't compare them to Cree since I haven't tried, but yeah I'm very happy with them.
