I got some of those emergency blankets to use for reflection...there is a lot of folds in them though....will that be alright?...or will it create hot spots?....I'm a first timer so any info would help...thanks.

What are the alternatives ?

Wrapping paper, white/black plastic (anyone know a name it is called by when asking for it ?), Paint, emergency blankets,

Here is something I recommend on emergency blankets since they wrinlkle, go to an art supply store, buy a large sheet of foam core (available up to 4x8) and a can of spray adhesive - then you can spray the board and permanently mount the space blanket on the foam core board. You can use cardboard also.

That sounds like a good idea there. Since all the FOLDS seem to be the prob anyway. Flatten it out nice and smooth would help i think, with hotspots and have better light reflection.
