Crop The Top

I dont remember where i saw it but Im under the impression i could crop the nice top buds of my plant whilst leaving the lower ones to catch more light as a result. sort of like two harvest- crop top first. wait a few weeks for lower bud sites to absorb more light and presumably get bigger then when they are ready crop them .

is this true? anyone with any experience doing it? any advice you can give me?

this is done with extremely dense plants. the buds on the inside are immature at harvest time. you'd harvest the colas, and prun back some fans to expost the remaining bud sites. then, after two or three weeks, the small buds are ripe and three times the size they were at your first harvest.

I do this and actually just did it recently again. I harvested the top and larger mature colas then trim back the unneed left over veg and move the lights closer and let the secondary buds and hiddin one mature and re harvest.Like last grow I took about 90 oz wet of the main colas and big mature buds then left the plant after trimming back to go for another 2-3 weeks and yanked another 15 wet ozs out so thats more budz, more budz, more budz oooh yeah
