"crystal pearl"

found this stuff in my tool box (i have no idea where it came from) its called "crystal pearls",
on the little 10 gram baggy it said " a substitute for planting"
i thought "nice i could grow in weird purple stuff"
who knows anything about this stuff

I think you add water and they expand into colourful spheres for decoration.
