Thats not burn its a magnesium and/or calcium deficiency. Also looks like a nitrogen deficiency around the corner also. Do some research on the cure..............
Yes I have been overwateringThe green (looks like algae) on top of your perlite or vermiculite could be you are over watering.
I haven't been adjusting my Ph yet. I just ordered my meter last week. It should be here any day now. I noticed the problem didn't start til I upped my nutes to half strength.I'm not sure how anyone with responses like this, earns so much rep. It sure wasn't from being helpful.
Vonkins, your plant is not burnt, he is right on that. You are showing signs of calcium deficiency. It appears that your next problem is phosphorous. What is the PH of your water and the run off? Are you adjusting your PH? If you are, you need to increase or start feeding.
I'm not sure its nute burn. The only reason thought it was nute burn is cause a few days earlier I upped my nutes from quarter strength to half. I'm using GH 3 part Flora series shouldn't it have sufficient Cal and may already in itIf you are sure it is nute burn.Flush the medium with PH balanced water for a couple of days then reduce your nute strength by half.Watch the new growth the leaf color will indicate what the plant requires.Pale light green increase the nutes.Dark green and or spotting reduce the nutes.I don't know what brand of nutes or the strength your are applying. One more thing your nute strength may not be the problem but could be you are (feeding) or watering them too often,, or improper PH.
I'm using tap waterBut it isn't nutrient burn. Upping your nutrients didn't cause the spots on your leaves. Are you using RO or distilled water?
Yes improper PH balance can cause nute lockout. With tap water it is hardly ever at a constant state of pH and EC. Tap water can be affected by rain, snow, chemicals at the treatment plant ect. I have very good tap low EC and decent pH and it changes quite a bit.I have had over watering issues in the past with automated drip systems, spots but the plant didn't have any of the usual signs of over watering like wilting fan leaves. They looked like they had a calcium or phosphorus deficiency.Your plants are so young yes the GH at the right levels for their age has what they need, but it cant be adsorbed properly at the wrong PH.So get your meter,so you can get the pH right and quit over watering.I know you want trees but pushing them isn't the way.I'm using the nutes like the bottles say. The only other thing I can think of is the Ph. My meter will be here any day now. With my Ph possibly being off could it cause the spotting and discoloration
Not knowing your PH is like flying blind to me.In the beginning I had so many problems it was ridiculous.I have seen grows where the grower did not use a meter.Better Gardner than i.I'm in Hydro using GH Nova Series (Lucas Formula) I check my PH twice a day.Nute strength greatly affects water, the more food you add to the water the lower the PH drops. If I add food and let my PH drop below 5.2, calcium will not be able to be adsorbed even if I have 5xs the amount of calcium the plant needs. So yes PH tells you what nutrients are available for the plant at any given time.Since your meter is on its way.I would put them on water. If its too much food straight water will help.If its a deficiency on straight water the deficiency will continue. If you continue to feed them at the incorrect PH.They will absorb some nitrogen that will keep them green but the spots will continue.Which does look like calcium deficiency. Is there any way I can fix the problem or do I have to wait to my ph meter gets here to fix my problem. Whats odd is I've read tons of articles where people don't adjust their Ph when growing with the hempy method.
Yes you do have a touchy strain.I dont know about G13 but i do know White Widow very well.Widow can take very large amounts of food in the veg stage, but likes very low nute levels in bloom.GH flora series has all that your plants need at this very young stage. You wont find food related deficiencies until the plants are much larger or have flipped to flower.Your pictures are very blurry its had for me to make out your leaves and spots. From your description your leaves are wilting from over watering or over flushing, pot does not like to be over watered. The yellowing or necrosis at the tips is nute burn. You flushed they looked better. Then you started back on the food 1/4 strength again then after 1 week upped to full strength and the the spots started back up.I believe you moved to full strength too soon. Also I hate to say it but i think that over watering is the culprit again which may or may not be the sweet smell of your soggy medium?Just trying to help, in any way I can guys.what kinda of strain are you using? i know that i got a touchy strain. if your as new to this as i am and your strain is touchy like mine, then it might be that we would need diff nutes as well as
