It recently came to my attention that I am starting to get "sterile" bananas on a couple of my plants. They form on lower internodes where the preflowers are and don't seem to do anything but grow and fall off. Now, I'm no new grower but that seems to be some strange behavior. All of my seeds were fem'd and it has shown on a BF pineapple chunk as well as HF Armageddon. Since I'm nearly in the 9th week, it doesn't concern me but I haven't seen this before and wan to see if someone else has seen it. I'm curious to know what causes it and how I can prevent it with my future grows from these strains. Can't post pics via my phone so sry in advance. I'm running a single 400w HPS in a 2.5'x8'x9' closet. Day temps about 80-85F night at 65F. Ladies are in 5 gal buckets in FFOF soil. Organic grow with big bloom flower nutes (stopped last week).
