these plants are in 12/12 and i thought i was over watering them, i backed off but they still have curled leafs. i got a pool tester to check my ph, but haven't done it yet. how do i check the nutes for p and n?

looks like using nutes along with the over watering may be the culprit. She shouldn't need any food yet....do you have a good number of drainage holes in your cup? How much have you been watering? From the looks of the inside rim of your solo she needs more drainage. The water should be slow dripping out of the bottom for only a few minutes. Hope she gets better!

Test your ph from the water runoff....not sure how to do it with a pool tester though.

these are 24 oz. styrofoam cups with 5 toothpick holes, they drain pretty good. at first i was letting them set in the tray with the leach water to let them wick, but i have changed from that and started with bottled water this morning had been using tap. i only gave them a splash this morning because i have gnats and am trying to get rid of them, i have not fed them yet so it must be in the soil. i don't know what the soil is as the wife got it for me and said it was in a brown bag, my luck it is m.g. when i came in today they look a lot better. the pool testers i have is one with a strip stick and the other you fill with water and add drops of some other stuff but both you use a color chart.

The pool testers are ok to test your tap before adding nutes, but with nutes or from runoff, if it has any color to it, you'll be scratching your head.

poke more holes...lol! Sing to them.....do whatever you can!!!

I have never really worried about ph...I prefer the KISS method! And it works too....

Sometimes we just try too hard ya know? Try bringing your lights down a bit, and water only when the cup feels light. A little music....hopefully they make it. Maybe it's the styrofoam? But I can tell from the cup they have been over watered a wee bit. The top one looks like a nice indica :) Hope things turn around for ya!

i'm used to putting out my plants and checking on them once aweek, this is my first indoor grow so maybe thats it, i'm just not used to seeing it all the time. the water mark is from when i would pour the water in it would come up then go down about as fast, like i said they drain good to the point i sometimes wonder if they have enough water. both of them are indica and was some compressed that really wasn't that bad, so i hope it turns out good. thanks for the input.
