Quick question….when making SHO with curling iron, does the bud need to be decarbed when dissolving the resulting resin in oil or something like vodka? Thanks….

For edibles, yes. If you smoke or vape, no.

a suggestion? Decarb your bud before squishing. Put it in a jar and a pressure cooker. Then your squishies are good to go.

Cannabinoids dissolve very well in alcohol so long as it is 190 proof. What many people do is make a “concentrate” with 190 proof, then pipet a dose into drinkable 80 proof.

Unfortunately Everclear or a similar product is not available where I live….years ago it was but things have changed for some reason….

In that case I recommend an oil vehicle. You can still put that in, say, coffee with cream.

Yes…I have been making rather strong MCT based oils and then putting that into capsules for a while now. Wanting to try different methods of oral delivery shall we say. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks for your reply’s CH…
