I only remove fans on the bottom 6-12 inches and everything else on my big plants to make it easier to water
also you may want to cut some stuff off if you think it will impede airflow, but IMO you should focus on timing rather than cutting things off it just is counter productive IMO

You can cut a bunch off, just dont cut them all off. Remove any in that impede air flow like Nizza said.
Leaves are how your plant takes in the light so you need them. I cut the shit out of mine a few times through out the grow. Just to keep the circulation up.

What I do is cut off fan leaves as they turn yellow. I figure a dying leaf is not helping the plant anyway. That removes enough light blockage for my purposes. I have tried doing all kinds of suggested thing to plants. The best results I get come from just letting the plant grow as close to the way it would in nature as possible. So, I don't mess with green leaves.

Hello Bartow.
Ok. I have alrrady cut them off, but not so many. I know the plant nedds it for temperaturen control and so on. This Will be a litle of an experiment

skip to end to see final defoliation. That’s how black dog growers defoil right when they flip to harvest. I haven’t tried it that aggressively though myself.

I remove all the sites and leaves from the legs of the plants leaving only tops and canopies that get light and product buds. Seems to work pretty well.

If it isn't to improve air-flow and it's below a bud site I would normally leave it alone. Anything under scrog screen is cut.
