D&B number EIN number

i wanna apply for a government grant for start up of a "green" company. i must get a DUNS and EIN and do a CCR? anyone been thru this before? i am wondering how long the applications take for these numbers? i have a tentative EIN number but that won't help with my CCR until i get a D&B number...anyone, anyone???

i still haven't rec'd my D&B number yet. no one has had to get a dunn and bradstreet number?
