The funny thing is, if you ask most teens today, they don't even smoke bud....but they drink like little fishies

Either booze or pills...absolutely crazy....swear if one of my kids smoked but never drank and never did any other drugs I'd be one proud papa

Funny, it seems like it's just the opposite down here in the southwest. I have two teenagers and it is my understanding that most of their friends smoke pot at least occasionally. No pills that I've ever heard of, and not much drinking. They're just typical teenagers--not necessarily popular jocks, and not necessarily the more stereotypical loadies. Maybe it's more a rural vs. urban thing? We probably don't have the pill connections down here, but we sure do have acres and acres and acres of public land!

I believe that is because Hollywood glamorizes alcohol more now. The stigma is not as bad with alcohol as it is with weed. This is just my theory of course but I look at movies like The Hangover, The Hangover II, Project X, Superbad, and other movies alcohol is central to the plot. The last stoner comedy I can think of recently that was somewhat successful and had a decent budget was A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas and Your Highness. But H&K had a lot more drinking at the party scenes then it did weed. Either way alcohol is just more popular as clubs and dance music seems to be with teens.
