I've got 10 seeds, so far tried to pop 4 of them, trying 2 at a time since i don't want to risk screwing up all at once, been doing what i thought was right to get started, i've kept it within just a couple degrees of 80.
i tried the paper towel method with a plate & mug to act like a dome, 3 weeks now and none of the 2 seeds have done anything other then plump up a bit
I also found a 12 site jiffy germination dome at wally-world for $3, came with 12 jiffy pellets to start the seeds in, going on almost 2 weeks, making sure they are about quarter inch under the top of soil int he lil starter pod,
It seems to be getting just rid humidity wise in the lil jiffy dome, dew building up but not trickling back down.
I tried without ANY light by placing them in a white box inside the grow cabinet, temp still said right at 80 degrees F
I got 10 seeds from a friend, he did 10 seeds at once in a Real germination dome with the lil heat mat specifically for cannabis seeds, none of his tailed after 2 weeks. so im not sure if the seeds are bad? they aren't damaged or rotting or anything and from what I've looked up, are perfectly fine, but im not getting any results other then 1 in the jiffy dome is doubled in size and is a lighter color, but still no tail...
Trying a new method after 2 weeks with no results, just before starting this post im trying them without protection from the light, still going to keep them at 80 degrees, the soil pods the seeds are sitting in that's inside the dome are moist not flooded or dripping but not dry either(perfect says everywhere online)
The seeds strain is "Purple Candy" cotton-candy hybrid crossed with purple kush, again got them from a friend.
Our house isn't central heat/cooled and with the temps being close to the 50's at night so the best place i can control the temp would be in the 2' x 2' x 4' grow box i made, didn't half-ass it & built it right, Go Carpentry! XD
Cabinet will eventually be for just a mother plant in veg once i get things rolling(or rolling up!) not sure if the conditions are right and i should try popping the rest of my seeds(6 left!) or if i should keep doing 2 at a time, Really not setup for more then a couple plants at a time. Growing indoor, sticking with just soil for this grow.
