go with the tape, use chopsticks as splints to if you have to. she might be fine. I had it once to and it didn't die

Do you have a picture? Was it a topped plant and one of the four stems blew over, or just a large branch? Just curious. But it should heal. Since it's flowering, that branch may not fill out like the rest, but they usually recover as long as they're still connected.

I went camping over the weekend and came home to find one of my 5ft gals at a 45° angle. Damn wind blew her over but didnt uproot her. My rope came loose from my deck. So I tied her back up and she is doing fine. I see what the guys that do the LST talk about with the flowers following the light. The very top of her stalk has a funny Z shape to it now. Just from 1 day at 45° then back up right. It made 2 corrections in 48 hrs. Didnt think they moved that fast.

yup they are very hearty plants...and i think of topping like human bones in the sense that breaking them makes them stronger...they get strong bulgy "joints" where you top them

I use some grafting compound on my broken limbs as well. It helps hold it together when your taping ahd so forth. I have saved branches that were torn completely off the plant, but I was right there when it happened, taped it, glued it with grafting compound, and away it went, no harm no foul. You judt have to be careful to only put the compound on the outside of the break, if you put it inside, it cuts off the flow.
