Op why would you risk a hermie from the light cycle getting fucked by human error and imperfection? I can guarantee its more work than you are thinking....

why not just 12/12 cus the auto doesn't give two shits? Not like your gonna lose oz's of the auto, just a few grams will be sacrificed. Which the photoperiod plant will make back as a thank you for keeping an exact schedule.....
