- Ok my first grow and my caregiver says the plants look like they should be bigger. I've been thinking that myself lately. I have 2 LA confidential, and 2 ATF. The LAs are in Roots soil, ATFs in Foxfarm Ocean Blend. I feed them once a week with Gen. Hydo. base nutes as well as molasses, and Roots liquid bat guano. I was using House and Garden Multi Zen and Silica but have stopped using those according to instructions. I think I should've used more nutes and I think I may need more light or at least a tent so I have more light per sq. foot.I'm using a 1000w but like I said they're in my guest room when they sould be in a tent. Am I worried for nothing? Do they have time to bulk up? should I up the nutrients this late into flowering? Theses pics are from yesterday...Thank you for any replies

yea,compacting them off would make a huge difference like you said a tent,even just something shoddy for time been,some black and white sheeting hanging round them

Well your light is a little high IMO...just like me 
...18 inches is good man/woman...put your hand on the back of the plant if your hand is not hot, lower it, when the back of your hand is warm just over your plant, that's a good place for it...good luck...and don't worry they'll bulk up in the last 2-3 weeks, trust me...

I lowered the light down to 18 inches above the plants and it makes a big difference . A lot more light to the lower bud sites. I have 8 clones of the LA and 1 of the ATF as well as a green love potion and a cotton candy that I will have in a tent as soon as these 4 finish. Is it worth buying the black and white poly this late in flower to use on the four plants in the pics. How long do you think till they finish? I was going to start flushing in 2 weeks on the LAs maybe a little longer on the Sativa looking ATFs. Thanks for all of the replies

I will make an assumption, that being you started counting flowering days on the day you flipped to 12/12.
If that is true, your plants are really only about 33-36 days into flower. You should not start counting flowering days until you see the first white pistil.

NVM I researched the flowering days thing and the vote is split online. Conflicting info. It's cool though, I've been told by multiple ppl on this site that while I could use a tent next time, they're still looking good and should let them go at least 3 more weeks minimum. Multiple ppl have also said that they will definetly put on weight the last few weeks. I love this site. I tend to agree with you about waiting for the pistils btw. Can't wait to harvest, but very patient. Thanks again for all replies. Il post pics of the harvest.
Depending on the strain, yes. The second half of flowering is when they pack on most of the weight. You'll notice also how much more water they need at this point if you're in soil.
Remember also that breeder flowering times are often related to a perfectly/optimized setting and that most growers don't achieve that here expect longer flowering times.
