My first run with coco and having some issues at day 57 of flower. I had an over feeding and too much salt buildup around day 25 of flower. Flushed the medium and resumed with half strength nutrients. Everything got back on track for the most part, but some plants seem "semi-stalled" ever since.
I am thinking maybe the coco still has too much salt buildup in those particular plants. Seems like the flower are not hardening and filling in like the rest, much more fluffier and have burnt leaf tips around the flowers.
Being on day 57, I still have a week to 2 weeks on most of the plants left. What can I do to get them back on track? A one or two day flush of plain ph'd water? A short flush with weak nutrient solution? Or maybe a longer flush? If I reduced the nutrients to 25% and for several days, do you think that would flush out the salts and then let the plant pick back up and use the remaining nutrients in the coco to finish filling in? I am at a critical time right now in the flowering stage, I only have little time to get things back on track. I figure it could be too late, but at this point any little fix would help.
I am using advanced, sensi coco ph perfect a&b... I do not have an EC meter, only a ph pen. I have been growing for 19 years without an EC meter, so never imagined I'd need one now. I can only assume it's too much salt buildup from over feeding, but then again I have only been feeding at half strength for the last week (7-8 days)... I reduced the base nutrients and have have been giving them MOAB now for the last few days. Should I cut the MOAB out? Or, could I be under feeding??? The moab says to use in the last 2 weeks of flowering at 1-2 tsp per 5 gallons of water and that the base nutrients may need to be reduced up to 50%. That's exactly what I did, reduced base to 50% and been using only 1 tsp per 5 gallons of water but supposedly can use up to 2 tsp...
