dead + suffering plants (with pics)

hi, here are pics of my 2 plants. i've gone away for 2 weeks and this is how i found them when i returned. i don't know what has happened in the meanwhile. can you tell me why did the plant die?
on the other hand, the other plant is suffering. do you know what could i do?

pic one is male, it has balls.
and the white specks are from tap water.
the dead plant has died due to not being watered.

where are you from?.
and how many plants do you have?.
sorry mate but id kill the plant in pic one, it no good 100%male.

i'm from italy. that one is the only plant i have. i know it's a male, but i'd like to grow it anyway as it is my first experience. anyway, there are also black dots on leaves, but i don't think they are parasites. maybe is it a disease?

do you mean that the problem is caused because i use tap water? but i use a fert that lowers the water ph.
