Decarb and over dry buds

I accidentally over dried some buds.........45% humidity and crumbly. I don't smoke it so I'm not concerned about the plant matter........I make canna oil caps.
I'm wondering if the bud needs to be decarbed before infusion? Or is it already decarbed because of the over drying?

Thanks.

Freshly harvested bud still needs to be decarbed no matter what the moisture content as far as I know. It does decarb naturally some over time but moisture levels shouldn't convert the THC-a to the good stuff we need for meds.

Don't know how overdried u got it but I've bout the dry back to life with fresh plant branches. I throw em in the jar and they work great. Crumble dry will work but not dust dry. maybe try a bud or 2.

Thanks for the reply.
As I stated above, the humidity was 45% and I don't smoke it.......I infuse it with coconut oil.
You can check your oil after removing the plant material by heating it to 240 on the stovetop. If you are getting large bubbles is not decarbed and will need to stay on the heat till the bubbles get tiny.
