You could do that but your brownies will taste horrible. My favorite way to make cannbutter is to just boil a big pot of water, add a couple sticks of butter, add your bud, turn down heat to a soft boil and let it go for an hour or so. Strain it and put the water in your fridge. After a few hours the butter will solidify at the top and you can scoop it off and use it in your brownie recipe as a substitute for vegetable oil.
