Deciding When To Harvest - Heady or Body High?

Hello all. I have read in a couple different places that alleged harvesting earlier will result in bud which gives a more heady, "mind" high, and that allowing them to flower longer will result in a more heavy, body high. I don't know the legitimacy of these claims and was wondering if anyone has input or experience harvesting at different times and getting a different high? And if so, when would be a good point to harvest if you do want the head high? I am at 5 weeks, unknown strains but two are def Indica and one Sativa. Thanks

Yeah, it's true. Grab it too early, it'll get a high (usually) but will wear off quickly and is considered a wasted harvest.
Grab it too late, and it'll put ya sleep like a Thanksgiving feast.

Shooting in the dark, I'd guess the indica's could be taken in about 2-3 weeks, for a head high. Mine are slow to ripen beyond cloudy, usually some amber around 9.5 weeks.

Sativa's another story. Be prepared to wait up to a couple of months. Many harvest Sativa much too early.
