Deficiency has reached my main cola, should I throw this thing out? What should I do?

Greetings all, from St-Jacobs, ON!

Cannabis seems to hate my water, and keeps getting cranky after a few weeks. This time of course in flower, and it has progressed to my main bud as seen in the pic

Should I just throw this thing completely out and try again? I am a stubborn mofo and determined to experiment until I can make my hard water composition actually work for me. I don't know if this means cutting my water down with RO, or adding something to it, or adding something to the soil.. But I would love your advice

Thanks again experts, I won't be deterred and have tons of babies in veg to try again, and again, and again

Media: KIS Mix Blended Soil | Black Swallow Living Soils, Brantford ON (blackswallowsoil.com)

Lighting: HLG-550 R-Spec

Water: Tap from Mannheim Water Treatment Plant. Kitchener-Waterloo, ON

Water Composition: https://www.icmag.com/attachments/1714068512427-png.18993281/

Water PPM: 310-350

Water pH: 8.0 settles down to mid 7 and then I GH pH Down to 6.5

Just wondering if I should throw this out, would it stress nanner from the crispy leaves?

I was listening to the Cannabis Science podcast and on episode 3 or so they had Clackamas Coots on and he seems to be a huge believer that enough castings can fix ANYTHING. They're loaded with natural calcium and magnesium and all kinds of trace stuff. Will buffer your water problems and fix them up as long as there's sufficient castings in the media that aren't spent etc.. So I added both a slurry to top dress and just fed them the tea as well

Huge thanks again, just wondering if I should pitch this and try again. I have so many clones in veg I can never flower them all

Are you sure you need to be pH'ing your water? Mid-7's doesn't sound that bad for an organic grow.

Is that supposed to be a water-only soil? What size container and have you given it any other fertilizer?

Since it's mostly on the tops, are you sure your lights aren't too close?

I'd try to finish it out, or at least not chop the whole plant. You can cut out any parts that look like they might get moldy (basically anywhere the sugar leaves have died into the bud) if you want and give the rest of it more time to ripen...

What is in that 300PPM water? Do you think that some of it is phosphorous or potasium? Perhaps your soil is just low on those two elements. You could try a banana tea or some bloom nutes. Do you have any added beneficial bacteria or mycorrhizae in the soil? This late in bloom, might not have a great effect, but could slow down the yellowing.

How much pH down were you using? That's a shit ton of calcium and you're increasing it's availability by introducing acid to the mix. Try diluting with 50+% RO water and not adjusting pH.

I agree on light intensity. This reminds me a lot of how our plants look towards the end, similar to led fade. We get those yellow/purples when we withdraw nutes at the end especially on top buds and leaves.
It may very well be that your pushing your plant further than your organic soil can provide. Try coco hydro with a relatively high EC, checking that your run off stays around 3 but not much higher.

I'd say let it grow. I have a problem with mine now. I've concluded it's my soil. I'm switching to Coco Coir for my future grows.

Most of the leaves have fallen off and the buds keep getting bigger and rock hard.

My other one on the right in the same soil type is starting to show the same problems.

Why throw it out now?
Grow it till the end and if there's any rot, throw that out. Get what you can off it.

Don't know enough about your grow to diagnose possible causes other than you've got high calcium in your hard water.

But here.. take note.

Way late to the party. But if your plant doesn't like your water and this happens again, you could always pick up a few gallon jugs of water from the store. I used to have to do that I would just get the $0.99 gallons. Or sometimes that kind from the dollar tree in the big square container.

That's not a deficiency. It's Toxic Salts Buildup partially brought on by your too high ppm water.

Even heavy flushing won't fix anything at this point.

I only use RO water and lower ppm feed to help prevent this as our low RH just makes this happen a lot easier.

I'm really surprised some of the more experienced growers who have replied don't recognize this.

I'm made many posts explaining how to prevent this so if you search under my name with the keywords, Toxic Salts Buildup or TSB you should find them no problem. Generally begins around mid-flower and progresses rapidly.
