Thanks for the heads upAnother note to add to the thread. Mainly applies in soil but for any media.
When you defoliate you have a higher root mass to plant matter.
This makes the plant easier to keep healthy.
Just note if things go wrong you lose leaves which are doing most the work. Not the shaded ones down below. So you do have less wriggle room for error. Shouldn’t be an issue if you have your setup dialled in tho.
Id let your plants fill out more before thinking of removing any more. Just my opinion tho

I breed her for scrog but she actually does great in any style choosen. Solid, sturdy stems help but only go so far when she's top heavy like this. Even silica won't stop her from bending under the weight. It only delays the inevitable bamboo poles.
