I have a OG kush plant I grew from a clone off my mother plant I think I might have to take a lot of the smaller colas off the plant . I want to see if I can get the buds to grow bigger is anyone think that's the way I should do it I'm really not sure. It seems to me that the other plants that I grew had a lot of colas but it seems like there were too many of them and it wouldn't let the other buds grow big.here is a picture of the plant.i just want to know if I should take off more of the small bubs thank you for any help .best wishes and happy holidays

I wouldn’t remove anything else at this point.

Og’s I’ve grown from cut had great lowers, better than most. Just super lanky stems. Looks funny seeing big nugs on tiny twigs.

The only trick to training was keeping it low during veg. I would do very selective pruning of lowers, a lot less than i would do on other plants. But i was literally tying branches in knots no joke to keep them low.

Nice disco ball reminds me of this. I like to decor my tents too and for some reason was thinking a discoball randomly.


In all seriousness its perfect for one its powdery mildew resistant with that structure just needs a fan like you have. It should do what you want as is its weird at first might not happen first attempt.

The longer you grow your clone the more you learn from it. Mine was the same way, hermy it seeded the first run from seed but stopped once cloned. It then started getting fatter and fatter with this applied. Every strain is a bit different no two plants the same and even the same clone can grow almost unidentical to last run.

Lolipopping works but watch removing too many fan leafs, it will effect size buds the energy goes to making more mini leafs. If you check out my journal medidedicted in all caps you can see just this by just brushing over the photos.

Veg time matters but I do drain to waste coco so I get just vigorous growth good growth in general. I just need some more dialing in only to change everything and need to dial it in all over again but still drain to waste coco.

If this is soil its kinda going to depend how well they can grow. Id think Id get even more different results with soil until I knew how to get them to grow as vigorous as possible which includes energy to make those large buds. If thats not true then I guess you should be able to get what you want just playing around with clones. Im no good at soil.

I actually dont want the buds you want because they can mold easy or hopefully its just me and my new setup could handle those. Thats be a game changer I could yield so much more but its ptsd like. I lost 32oz or more to mold.

Thank you that's some the the greatest information I got I will check out your journal that also helps me understand about the mold possibilities I don't want that thank you again for all the information

That's cool the knot thing .but they really stretch when they go into flower thank you for the information.you guys are awesome.

Generally I like to lollitop or whatever its called. I think you probably went a little extreme tho. Your buds are now set there, no more stretch to be had. You could’ve gotten some better stacking by letting them stretch a little more before waxing her under-carriage.

Yes I think your right .I should have ask first I see I hope it still brings a nice yield but I just want my plants to look like some of the ones I see on here. Thank you for your help .

They look great, barring any major screw-ups (unlikely), you’re gonna have yourself some nice hand grenades there! The mold thing is real, but is also a genetic thing. I think you have enough tops you’ll be fine. I usually grow single cola on purpose because I like to know what their mold game is like.
