G'Day
I would appreciate a little help with diagnosis I often have some deformed leaves during early veg due to my plants starting life in a very small, poorly controlled environment and me intentionally keeping them in small air bags to do so, but they've usually snapped out of it once up potted and put into the flowering area.
However this grow has gone a little different, these are all Florida OG by DNA and all had deformed first true leaves as seedlings, 2 started growing normally but 1 kept on being funky (Second picture) 3 Girls total.
They've been in the flowering area for about a week now but still vegging at 20/4 at the moment, everything seemed ok up until 2 days when we had some warm but not unusually hot weather (It's spring, the weather is a bit all over the place at the moment) the next day I noticed the 2 regular looking plants top leaves went a bit like cooked bacon and the funky plant started being even more funky looking.
Growth feels a little slow overall but they were topped except funky plant about a week ago and the weather has swung back to cold again last few days.
All growing in pure coco hempy buckets, pH 5.8 and PPM about 1000. Under a 150watt EB Gen.2 Strip LED 3500K I built several years ago. I have been watering every 2 days and planned too continue doing so until plants established in hempy buckets/weather gets a little warmer.
I admit I've been a little slack with checking pH, I've been growing the same way for years and it's usually not been an issue between mixing up batches of nutrients but I'm open to the possibility it could be caused by pH, however I did check pH the past couple of waterings and its been fine.
Light was too close in previous veg area, few spots of light burn but shouldn't be an issue now they've moved and I don't suspect it's what's caused this issue.
I can't see any bugs, never had many issues with bugs except gnats and I can't see any at this time, however it's possible I suppose.
I'm personally thinking the swings in temp might be the cause or possibly genetics?
Doesn't seem to be like my usual cal/mag def I see from time to time when I'm a bit slow uping the amount of feed I'm providing.
Any help appreciated, thanks.
