Delta 9 labs Brainstorm Haze Smoke report

Big bro finished his cure on some delta 9 labs Brainstorm haze, came over with an 1/8 about an hour ago and decided to barter for some of my Vortex . We took out my old gravity bong and decided to taste the fruits of his labors... the moment i smelt the bud i swear i got a brain-Boner, smells original, like weed he used to grow back 10-15 years ago when i was still a kid. Kinda spicey dirt piney smell. A perfect vacation from my vortex, as im building some tolerance to it and wanted to try some new Herb. After we got 2 gravity bong rips each, after many minutes of laughing and coughing like we were still kids, i went to take my 3rd rip.

bad move, this Strain is some super creeper, i was in the middle of "oh this stuff is good; yea but its not as...... ..............."

i pretty much stopped talking there and got hit with the brunt of the high. really potent stuff, i didnt expect that. about half an hour ago he left and the high is still climbing, but its very clear, and motivating. made me want to write this its that good!

Taste: 9/10 Earthy, haze.
Smell: 8/10 Piney, earthy. natural is a good description. gives me nostalgia of smoke-ups past.
Density: 2/10 very fluffy buds, not dense at all. an 1/8 lookes like a 1/4 in the bag.
Bag appeal: 8/10 BEAUTIFUL to look at, but when you feel its weight, it gets a little disheartening.
Potency: 8/10 strong, almost perfect, 1g joint could last me a day. super-creeper that will leave you with a retarded smile by the time you realize the it is taking its full effect.
High: 10/10 Old school sativa mixed with new school potency. nice stuff. i can focus on this, love to draw with this type of high.
Smoke: 9/10 Very smooth, it cures very well, i coughed only because of the gravity bong, doesnt explode or anything in your lungs.

good stuff, im think ill go smoke some more, this has left me thoroughly impressed. top 10 smokes ever for me. Personally i love tga strains for the tastes/smells and highs, but this is such a departure from the foggy head highs i get from some of them, D9L deserves more recognition imho.

why were the buds so fluffy? im thinking its because he doesnt know how to thicken the buds during the last few weeks of flowering growth!

THC percentage?

Ill upload some as soon i can get a new camera, the buds are really airy. they seem well grown, im guessing it is just the way the strain grows, because its caked in trics, like the strains i grow, but a shade of goldish brown instead of white/grey like my vortex. same gold/orange hairs. looks beautiful. i dont know the thc percentage, im guessing its pretty high, like 15-19%



tommorow ill update it after i smoke a j, since i took many hits from my Bong, so potency may not be stellar compared to say, vortex but the high sure is, no ceiling.

i was looking at this strain at one point and the strain is not airy at all except for the first 5 - 8 weeks of flower.... this paragraph below is from Attitudes website...

if they were airy then im afraid he didnt let the plant reach full maturity before harvest.. says flowering time lasts 10 - 12 weeks. how long did your bro flower for?

ill ask him, they are airy compared to my headstash.

Thanks for the smoke report! I've also been growing Vortex for over a year now and am starting to feel the need for a swich. I have Pandora seeds from TGA so that will be great I'm sure, but Delta 9 is the other breeder I've been wanting to try. Funny because I remember Subcool saying he liked them too. Your descriptions of an old'school nostalgic smoke caught my attention. Thanks!

where's the pic's of the brainstorm, i read an artical on BSH in hightimes, and omg, i want to grow it so bad but its such a long flowering plant, and i want to wait to have the right equipment to grow indoors befor i start.....but lets see some pics if at all possible,,thanks

I ended up smoking it before it occured to me, i wrote the report pretty high and forgot to check back, but i'll definitely grow some from clone. top 10 fav's and the buds my brother got weren't airy at all they were the good buds on the plant, i got the popcorns and airy early buds. picking this plant early makes it a good all day smoke, the G13 that is crossed with it gives a really nice body stone but a clear upbeat head high. good for studying or class, music.

Sounds like a good deal. I have a pack of em' I havn't ran yet, maybe it's time.

takes a while to flower since its mostly sativa, i wanna try and grow it myself when i get room.

i bet you stick them under some 600watters or maybe even 1000watts of mind numbing growing power, i bet you get tigher buds then

my brother used his 500w led for veg and 1k watt HPS for flowering them, he said he plucked them 2-3 weeks earlier than his smoking plant(10 weeks instead of 12-13) and went light on nutes, but the finished plant he ran alongside it got fat and had a much heavier indica g13 high. i love this strain, and there are 2 brainstorms from the same breeder and the g13 takes longer.
