Designing a closet grow HELP!

I want to grow in a 5x5 closet. I plan to put either a 3x3 tent inside or a 4x2. I want to use either a 600w light or a 400w light. I am unsure about ventilation and air filtration. Is bulb ventilation needed for a 400w in that space? i plan on buying almost everything from HTG Supply.

I want either the 400 or 600 of this light and have a 6 inch vent in the reflector to be able to vent.

for ventilation i am planning on buying i am unsure if i should actually buy this i want to cut cost as much as possible is it possible to get these parts at lows?

And this tent or one as such is what I'm looking at. its height may not be what i need may need a little higher but i really want to build this but cant find any DIY for this type of thing any suggestions as to cut the cost of this piece?

ok then without the tent how should i vent the room? cut a hole in the door? sorry im pretty clueless right now about ventilation and i have been reading on these boards for the good part of a year now.

Can you send me pic of your space, I would Love to help you design a Kick Ass grow space. I am all about DIY and saving $$$. You do not have to spend alot of money to grow quality Medication.:weed:

I haven't moved in, i move in 2 weeks but its bigger than the last space i had. I did 5 plants under cfls. Had only about 10k lumens all together and pulled off 3 good harvest last year. Now I am looking to actually spend some money or preferably diy. Its for sure 5x5 i want to pull off a half pound or around about which i think i could do with a 600w and a diy dwc. if im wrong in thinking this let me know im just going off my last harvest from cfls got 2 3/4 oz off 5 plants that had a good veg period. (i definitly didnt have everything i needed for that grow)

omw to get drunk wont be responding till later tonight or tomorrow thanks for the responses i have 2 weeks until i start setting it up i hope i can get some more infromation on the venting and if i need the tent or not? and does 400w need like a cool tube to keep temps down or is like a bathroom fan enough to keep temps down?

Take the doors off the closet or leave em on if you can but use a staple gun and duct tape to put up some panda plastic (aka black and white poly) and then get a tarp zipper for the middle. This is what I did for my closet setup. Then I got 6" ducting and cut holes in the panda plastic for ventilation attached ducts with duct tape to the panda plastic, light proof, ready to go. GL.

I used my central air from my AC unit to cool my room, just disconnected the vent leading to the bathroom and redirected it into the closet worked great and keeps it whatever temp i choose

stay away from those filters from hgtsupply. I herd a lot of people are having issues with them (icmag.com)

stay close to can filter 33/66 and vortex fans. Also on ebay foothill filters have some decent filters.

Imo stay with can filter 33/66
