Out doors are always a challange with catipillars, vigilance is your best defence, nats are sometimes associated with too wet of conditions, if in pots wick them. Just get an old cotton tee shirt, cut strips, carefully run them into the seep holes by tieing the cotton wick to a wire clothes hanger. This will help you deposit it deep in the pot, those long match holder things that you might have seen used to light the waterheater works pretty well also. Outside that, when it comes to pesticide in our bodys less is more!
For spidermites, DO try cali clean, see thred. This stuff is also dynamite for burned and otherwise people screwed folliage, works like a bandaid, Starts n deficiant pale leafs greening within a couple hours of spraying. I use this on all sick plants . It's medication for OUR medication!

i have been lucky to have only had gnats, and one potatoe bug. but, i use "gognats". one capfull per gal of water. i water new plants in with it. aslo, i got some pyrithiums conscentrate. i added some of this into mix. the very next day, dead gnats all over my hoods. lol!! also, i took some of the mix, in a spray bottle, and sprayed them all. including the top of the dirt. i also foliar with spray n gro. but not for bugs. for buds!

If u can't find the Neem in ur local grow shops and u may have to ask for it as it is cheaper then sprays, then take a look at Ebay. There's loads of it on there.
You can use it for multiple insects and it's safe for plants. We try not to spray at the end of flower though.

BT for catapillers....... it's a natural bacteria Cervantes uses.
BT? is it the same BT that is produced by GM corn? is it Bacillus thuringiensis? that stuff is toxic to humans. and traces of it can be found in our food. so if it is used on marijuana traces of it can be found in the weed.

BT corn makes the toxin the bacteria does when a catapiller eats it. BT spray is not the toxin itslf. Its the bacteria. Its widely used in organic gardening.

thanks for all the all the tipss ya'll.could not find any other the other threads on this which would be one i posted one. thanks

Gnats, put up the yellow sticky things first, this will catch the adults, than cut two inch pieces of patotoes and place them on top of the soil. I put one on all four sides. Change out the patatoes every two or three hours for a few days the adults you dont kill with the sticky paper will die off and they will lay their larve on the patatoes. Took me about three days to get rid of all the gnats. Cant help with the cats. No experiance but the gnat thing works. Check out the patatoes with your micropscope as you change them out. You will be amazed

Caterpillars will decimate any and everything and neem oil just won't do it...on my veggies I use some uhhh sevin powder...it isn't organic..it is poisonous chemicals, but it kills the caterpillars and nothing is going to be harvested for awhile...in which case it is safe to use...so...whatever...lol. I maybe should be pickier, but I am just not all that into it...a little bit of sevin dust here and there isn't too bad I don't think...it says you can use it to within so many days of harvest of most things...but I figure like 4 times the recommended wait time should make it alright.

Yeah i know it, just the rain over does them everyonce and awhile. For indoor sundew plants work well tho.maybe cayenne for the cats? or garlic and vinegar or something of the sort?
