Diagnosis?

2 X 00 Seeds White Widow autos week 3. LST and defoliated. Canna professional soil in 17 litre pots, Biocanna range, worm castings and dry amendments for what biocanna seems to lack. Neem kelp teas and aloe foliar sprays
90x50x160 growlush tent. VIPARSPECTRA Newest Pro Series P1500 LED.
4" INLINE FAN/CARBON FILTER. 2x6" oscillating fans.
I’m thinking possible ph fluctuations?
Any input would be appreciated

looks like early calcium deficiency, are you growing in coco through? might be salt built up if you're not watering a lot everyday

The canna rep said that I don’t need to ph using the bio canna range and soil combo, additionally that some people have said to him that they encountered cal mag issues thus I added dolomite lime with a hint of epsom salts in an attempt to counteract that.
Maybe time to start testing the ph I think lol.

PH is gonna decide on how your nutrients are being used and pulled through the plant, coco and hydro you want 5.5-6.0 roughly and soil 6.0- 6.5 keeping it in the happy medium will make your plants flourish with growth. i have a buddy i just text who says biocanna is a 6.0-6.5ph even if mixed with soil. and i was wrong about the salt buildup there is no salts in biocanna so no need to flush at the end if you just use the soil, if you added any of that epsom you will wanna flush before harvest though. i had problems not paying attention to ph at the start of my grows now they're 6-6.5 everygrow and all my colas are baby arms organic

I greatly appreciate your input LJ00 thank you. As I added the Epsom salts as a top dress with other dry amendments ( Dolomite lime, southern no till Regenerate, and insect frass) would it be worthwhile removing these , or would that simply be a waste of time and effort at this point?

you're still in veg so not the end of the world as long as they aren't super potent amendments, good luck with the rest of the grow man!

I don’t think they’re overly potent, not sure. Regenerate dry amendment ingredients:
Neem Meal: pest resistance, macro nutrients. Certified Organic
Kelp Meal: Growth hormones and micronutrients. Certified Organic
Malted Barley: Enzymes for faster microbial action
Paramagnetic Basalt Rock Dust: Raises soil fertility and provides slow release trace elements
Gypsum: Certified Organic. Provides sulfur and calcium and does not affect pH. If building your own soil, add appropriate amount of calcium carbonate if correcting acidic soil from the addition of sphagnum peat moss. We left out lime so your soil pH will not shift over time and become more alkaline.
Soft Rock Phosphate: Naturally sourced, un-processed rock phosphate high in trace elements, calcium and phosphorus as well as silica – a cell strengthening element.
Mycorrhizae: Contains 4 species of endomycorrhizal fungal spores. Made in Australia

those should all be good just watch out for kelp meal the high potassium can sometimes make plants do weird things if you dont introduce it slow, same for neem oil but with nitrogen cause thats a 6-1-4 i think but youre in veg so itll prob want somewhat of a higher nitrogen ratio. topdressing is great but often times i find people are doing too much to their soil and thats whats throwing plants off so you have to be careful not to cause any lockouts.

I disagree with 1/2 what you said.

Kelp meal is really mild for one. What weird things do you mean?

And he's using neem meal, not oil. It's different. I actually top dressed last night and neem meal was part of it.

I'm totally with you on the lockout thing though.

I grow organic so it can be a lot easier to throw organic plants out of balance, but i was using some gaia kelp meal top dressing with the recommended amount, and the veins on my leafs went almost fluorescent yellow after a week and half of watering, not sure if it was the kelp but it was the only thing i top dressed with. Definitely possible i mighta accidentally used more then the recommenced amount or had more phos. kicking around then i thought. and i meant to say neem meal my b.
