Did I screw up? help plz

Hey guys, I was wondering if I screwed up...
I just germinated my seeds, put them into the grow medium and humidome.
After gemination am I suppose to but them under light? ?
I put them under the cfls, at 18/6 was I suppose to wait until they sprouted/poke through the soil?
Is this going to kill them? Will they sprout under the lights? Watchin some videos and seems like they put them underlight after they sprouted.
I hope this is ok, help please.

Another question that i have. How warm should the soil be?
I was just in my box, touching the soil to see if its still damp. I noticed the soil was pretty warm, is this bad?
I move my lights another inch or two up. How warm should the soil be, my box is sitting at 83F. By touch seems like the soil is kinda hot What should i do?

Heat is good for geminating seeds, keep the soil warm. Your temps at 75-85 are good.
The seedlings will probably stretch but after a week or so u can replant them lower down in the soil.

Thanks diddy and everyone for the help. my morning feels alot better, spent half the night worried and the other half making my stupid timer actually work..
Just tested my soil with a probe thermostat, 80F. hopefully thats around right. Just hope my soil isnt too moist.
Cant wait until i see signs of life.
