Different Types of Plants in an SOG Grow

I'm about to try my first grow ever. I'm using an Ebb & Flow system, and I want to use the Sea of Green grow method. I want to grow 16 plants (4 each of AK47, Blueberry, Northern Lights, and White Russian).

Can this be done well, with 4 different types of plants in an SOG? Or should all plants in an SOG be the same type?

For best results all plants should be the same type so they theoretically get to the same height, have the same tolerances, etc...

Typically though many people grow multiple types at the same time.

It also depends on the type of SOG. LST would obviously be easier than lollipopping due to the potential height issues.

Is this grow from seed or clones? I wouldn't run any SOG grow from seed but that's just me unless I knew the strain to be single cola dominate.
