Dimable digital ballast

Hey guy's

I have a 400w lumatek digital dimable ballast, Can I set this on 250w while using a 400w globe? or do I need to buy a 250w globe?

And when if at all should I use the super lumens setting?

Yes you can set it at 250 with the 400 watt bulb it just uses 250 watts of power and not the full 400

Awesome, I think I will drop her down to 250w for a couple more weeks.
