Strain: Dinafem Blue Widow
Growth: Slow for an indica. Needed stonger nute mix possibly.
Lights: 2 area 51 RW90
Nutes: H&G Coco A&B, bud xl, bloombastic. Nutes via blumat drip system.
Yield: 55 grams bud, 80 grams trim and fluff. Lowest producer in my tent. I think this strain requires a scrog to yield even a decent amount.
Bag Appeal: Not bad. Plant didn't show any color change as I had seen in other reports. Normal looking buds, one cola that might be 6 grams. not a lot of big buds or popcorn.
Smell: Here is where this one shines. It has some really crazy aromas coming out after a few weeks around 63%. Fresh peaches. A slight hint of noxema. Maybe a bit of mint. It really is quite different than a normal cannabis scent. A deep inhale from the jar really hits the tip of my nose and gives a cooling effect. This is gonna be good in a couple of months.
Taste: not up to par with the smell, but still a bit of sweetness. I can taste the blueberry in the background trying to get through, but the widow harshness overpowers it.
The High: Stoned. Good body high, great painkilling effect. strong munchies. really strong munchies. I ate a half a box of fudge stripe cookies last night munchies. Giggling ensued. Then I made a grilled cheese sandwich munchies. This is a stay on the couch all day playing video games smoke. Should make some awesome butter from the fluff.
Comments: I really want this plant to shine so one of the clones is going into my small scrog tent. Going under a platinum 150 multi spectrum led. Hoping the training and being alone in a good area might get the plant to produce. I did this with pineapple chunk and had a tripling of yield, so hoping this will do the same. Also going to try and hit the nutes just a little harder next run as it never really showed any nute burn. I dried it for 7 days and then jarred it, was hitting 70% so I pulled them from the jars two times for 8 hours to get the humidity down. Hung whole plant to dry, will try to draw out the drying process next time to maybe 9-10 days. I'm giving this one a 7/10, with a chance to rise to an 8 after further curing.
