Disaster! What would you do?

This topic has been in my head for awhile because there are a lot of earthquakes where I live.

Hypothetical situation:

An earthquake hits your home town. Power is out, water is shut off and motor vehicles cannot run on the wrecked and twisted roads.

What would you do to keep growing your girls?

Side question:

Do you grow other things to survive? Like potatoes?

i'd get some solar panels and be proactive about it or a generator and enough fuel to run it a week or 2. Electricity is very useful i find.

Agreed poopmaster. If there was an earthquake to the extent that vehicles couldn't even use the road, there was no water and no electricity, well yeah, i think there would be more important things i'd be worrying about other than my plants, such as well, i don't know, my own personal requirement for water etc.

Is this like ,,ultimate disaster senario?? well if power gose out my babies would die, so I put them in my window to survie and no police mans oig to arrest me cause its all gone mad max style with roaming gangs and miltary groups claiming power ,,
and then a big giant monster called recycl-tron comes and recycles people and animals into fabric and chocolate.
yes,,i am high.

Not at all actually.

It is a very possible scenario where I live. It is also inevitable if you live in the western side of North America from Mexico, through the states and up to Canada (among other places in the world).

Do you think Cannibus could be used for trade? For water or food? Maybe some leverage with local politics?

All my vegetables are outside, so that wouldn't be an issue. In fact if it were that serious (and for some reason we didn't evac or something) I would bring my cannabis plants outside also. Figure the cops and authorities have WAYYYY too much on their hands to care about a plant or a few plants.

I'd start getting ready now then, you dont want to get caught with your pants down when you could be all ready to go. I've been contemplating making a survival room in my basement myself. Kind of like the bomb shelters of old times. Except with its own modern power and water system.

LOL, dude if the power is out, water is out and cars can't move on the road, who gives a fuck about your plants, your ass has real problems to deal with.

Put them outside and hope it rains while you are out looking for food and water for YOURSELF!

and i thought i was a pothead:bigjoint:......the OP takes the cake:clap:! he doesnt just take it, he f**king snatches it:-P! this guy is talking about pretty much choas in the streets and all he's worried about is how he's gonna water/light, take care of his pot plants. LMAO!!!!!

Some of you guys misunderstand me...;)

I am an organic food grower in a very small space deep within a city. Even though my space is small (10 square feet), I grow enough food to take care of my family and then some. We also have water storage, but that is besides the point.

In my case, if an Earthquake hits, I will move the indoor plants to my garden area. Simple as that.

I would be able to supply food for my family and maybe 5-8 others depending. That's just me! Imagine if those 5-8 people had their own gardens of food (veggies), beauty (flowers) and entertainment (Marijuana)? They could feed and help so many more.
