Distance from light to plants

Hi

My plants are 12 days old since I put them in the soil from seed germinating

Bio mix all mix
HPS 600w light
6 plants
Super cheese auto-flower

I've uploaded two photos to show the distance roughly and a plant to show you how they are in size in regards to the light street and distance

Is my light too far away from the plants?
It's at least 4ft away as it comes up to my shoulders.

you should be looking for about 40-60cm from top of plants I go for 40cm as i run 600w in cool tube and digital ballast with a good cf/and extractor see my pic 3 x cheese and my kids sunflower hope this helps

also if there autos i would have germinated them in the final pots as autos don't like to be messed about with
