Hi guys. This is my first post. I have been follow along for quite awhile now observing and learning. I am in the fist stages of getting a Diy aeroflow set up going on. From construction to plant strain. There are an amazing amount of variations out there and I am just trying to dial in the best design for the best possible results.
In the end I want 4 systems 8 ft long 5 channel with 6-8 600watt Hps. I have literally read and watched everything there is online about this aeroponic sysem and I still cant fully come to a decision on plant spacing. There are so many variables. Lets start with strain. I am leaning towards more indicant dominant. White widow, Chronic, Willam Wonder, skunk. The actual aeroflow design seems to close to me, and some go up to 12". I would like to do 10" staggered spacing. So five 8' rails, 9 2-3" netcups. I am doing outside plumbing 1800gph mag drive with 3/4" line to 1/2" to 1/4 " line attached to ez clone spray misters . I have yet to use them so I am not sure if I can get away with placing between each site or making one for each. Also you see some guy just going with the canopy technique while others will do major amount of leaf trimming for light exposure. Any ideas on spacing, growing technique, plant strain is very welcome.
