DIY bubble cloner

Just a quick question to anyone who has used one, does the stem of the clone just sit in the water? Similar to the way the roots sit in the water with a dwc system

No they actually sit above the water. I made this mistake when I first used one. I had the stems in the water and couldnt figure out why they were dying. The stems need to sit about a quarter inch above the water line.

Thought it would be odd to have stems submerged in water thanks
