diy CXB or Vero ?! help me :)

first of all..
i would like to go with the CXB 3590 but they are really expensive for people who have not huge amounts of money next to them like myself - im a mother so basicly i have no money at all
could pay that over time of course but i didnt saw a shop with cobs who gave us such a possibility

i got 24 sqare feet or 2.25 m²
i thought about getting 600-800 watt from cobs @ 1.4 amp (everything else would be to expensive)
i would run them on cpu coolers since heatsinks are really expensive in europe


thought about getting vero 29 v2 4000k (142 lm x 800 = 113.000)
from kingbrite for 21 bucks( 16x 21 = 336 without shipment) this would be really cheap but i had to get a driver which had to be cost effective

could get the cxb 3070 3500k BB bin (164x800=131.000)
for 33.5 dollar at kingbrite or 32.43 dollar at cutter (518 without shipment) possible driver would be the meanwell hlg-185-c1400

or i buy the cxb3590 3500k CD bin (182 lm x 800 = 145.000)
for 43 kb or 47 cutter (688 without shipment)

i just grow once a year so that i have enough for myself and a couple of friends

is it now a good time to buy cobs? got the feeling that a new cob generation will come soon

It may also be worth looking at the Gavita SE 600 or a DE 600/750
It's still a very efficient good light, it's noticably cheaper than COBs and if you only grow once a year the lower start up cost makes it great.
Also plug and play so no drilling/tapping/assembling.

HPS is still very good when you have to work with a tight budget.

for that space i would need alot more watt with gavita or hps solutions
the canopy wouldnt be even lighted out

for the soldering problems i got a good friend of mine who will help me out there =)

I disagree. A 1k on a light mover only moving a 2 to 3 feet works great in my space of same size. would still
be very cost effective or use 2 600's without mover. Gl OG

leds are the future i wont invest in a gavita / hps - sorry boys

I am building 4 light bars with cpu coolers, 16 ea cxb3590's 3500k 36v cd bin, hlg-240h-c1750b drivers with pot, 4 mw apv-12-12 for fans, plus metal for frames and misc materials probably around 1300-1400 usd to cover same size area.

do you really think the tent wont produce 200g?

i just asked nicely a couple of questions if we could relate youre answers to that question in the first place you can give me hints for whatever you like please
its like you go in the supermarket and ask where are apples and how expensive are they at which weight and they respond buy pineapples more vitamin c and cheaper
i bet if you try that 2 times and he or she responses like that you go out of the store and will never come back if you have enough of other markets near your living place!!

go with the vero 29@1400mA or the cxb3590 run at 1750 (53% eff) or 2100mA (50%eff same as cxb3070 at 1400) on the hlg-240-c

or because you are in europe you can look at the elg-c150 series-its way cheaper and only works on our voltage and use it to run cxb3590 harder

The Cutter price for CXB3070 is attractive compared to CXB3590. The two series can be compared using the PCT spreadsheet from Cree. http://pct.cree.com/dt/index.html

I'm not familiar with Vero so I don't know how they compare to CXB3070.

WTF, how would anyone even know you are a WOMAN? People try to help you and you get all bent out of shape? That clued me off to you being a woman more than anything else... Why dont you wait a week for your hormones to balance out and try asking again nicely? Reminds me of Chris Rock last night ranting about how much it sucks to be black...

Why don't you focus on Chris Rock re-runs and leave the comments to yourself if they aren't constructive in nature.
