After new years I've been checking arrow like once a week looking for good deals here's what I've got to work with So far lots of strips cobs and 3535 diodes I already had the MCPCB, I reflow my own diodes when I can the boards are all Dtp, I bought over 500 xpg3 diodes for like $75 they arent the best but definitely worth what I paid. I also bought a few xpg4 and put em on copper 4 up 20mm round boards just for a lil fun

I cut 2 8' aluminum angle bar and screwed them together so I can fit 6 strips on them, so 528 lm301b diodes on each 4' "heatsink". I have an extra hlg-320h-48b driver that will run all 3 of these nicely.

Good to see someone making DIY atam still this day and age. What is your mounting method on those mpcbs and xpgs?
When I first started reflowing leds I used a clothing iron and a stop watch and tried to match the recommended times and temps on the data sheet, then I bought a toaster oven which works like a real reflow oven but there is no benefit, I have used the hot plates on my dab press 2 years ago, and I am still running them, it is surprisingly easy, I prefer a hot plate of some sort so I can clean up excess solder. Good quality solder paste is a must, I use mg chemicals low temp that's approved for copper and aluminum. Copper boards are easier as well.

Checked back in to arrow after seeing this thread and came across these. Any thoughts on them would be appreciated.

Thinking about grabbing some as an all around red addition to some strips I'll be looking to build with finally. Thought the broad red would be useful, just wish it didn't come with such a 450 spike as well.
That is exactly why I bought those cxb 3590 they are 3200k 92+ CRI
