Do hygrometers produce their own heat?

Weird question maybe, but do battery operated hygrometers produce any sort of significant heat themselves? If you put one inside an enclosed space could it heat up that space and cause you to have misleading information about temps in that area compared to when it's not there?

a couple button batteries cant produce significant heat. not that much energy stored within.
unless they catch fire... and thats just a couple minutes of heat
