IMO: I would peel those off, check real good and watch it. I have done that and it didnt seed any. Not so good if you have a forest though.

IDK, I spent 30 bucks feeding it and x dollars on energy. She, it, he, or whatever it wants to be called is giving me something for it. Unless its the Amazon the there then yeah chop chop or to the torture tent.
