Do I have enough light ?

So I've ran into a problem and I'm starting to think you can really only grow with a proper light to hit at least 70k lux and at a reasonable distance so no heat or light stress .

I bought a crappy 600watt led first grow which was. Actually like 80-100 watts . It's like 20000lux in veg unsure what it is in flowering but it was no where near strong enough ..... Sure my bud developed it took 13 weeks but lower buds where at least 2-3 weeks behind all and all the weed came out weak .... I dont believe I harvested too late .... And the buds were mostly light and airy .

So bought a 300 watt cfl for veg and a 300 watt cfl for bloom both actual wattage 180.

Already see a massive improvement in seedlings sprouting under about 20000lux with the cfl at 16" and led about 24"

That said to get to 60k-70k+ for flowering I need to have the cfl fairly close and Everytime it cooks the shit out of the plants even if the temps are only around 28°c. The cfl up close will hit up to 130000lux but anywhere closer than 14" away at about 40000lux and they cook ... 40000k isn't close for flowering

Having a bit of an issue working out what I can grow in my setup before I put another 13 weeks into .

70k lux is about 1000 uMols the target area for most lighted plants (see Bugbee on YT)

using different type of lights here can get confusing later

leave your temp gauge at leaf height and adjust to suit 25c/77f
