well i have been searching and thats why i assumed i had the wrong bulbs and i could read all those replys or change the bulbs and focu on growing but just wanted conformation that i need to change bulbs before i make another mistake and this is a forum right isnt where u ask advice of more knowledgeable people so to be told to go look some more for the answer to my ? seems to defeat the purpose of a forum.

By the way i been scouring this site reading old forums but just wanted to get assurance that i understand correctly not that im lazy and cant do research

The successfulness of your grow will be determined by the amount of work you are willing to put into it. As kitty said these questions have been answered thousands of times...literally. If you spent 5 minutes researching the topic you would already have your answer and not be waiting here for someone else to come in and answer it for you. By the way you are referring to the bulbs I am doubting you even have CFL's. Sounds like you are using regular incandescent bulbs. Which are absolute shit and generate more heat then light. :P

Ya man Fab day light will work better for your 3 week old plant(Veg) and when it comes time to flower just put your old bulbs back in. And if possible try to double the wattage while maintaining temps. Good luck and happy growing.!

Blue or red Color temperature for vegging is not really as important as people would have you think imo, I've used all red for vegging and all blue for vegging and it didnt really effect the results if i used red and not blue, I did however seem to get better results using mixed spectrums, so that what i use now.

Of course, there's no difference, it isnt important, that's why 99% of people use blue for vegging and red for flowering. We just think they should come alphabetically in color usage because we're funny like that! Seriously, disregard the entire quote above and grow the right way. ;) ;) No disrespect, just nothing but non-factual information in that post.

OK TO SETTLE IT NOW

get 6500k (k stands for kelvin) for veg the bulbs should look blue kinda

get 2700k for flowering

lights sshould be on for veggie about 16-24hours and for flowering 12 hours.
