Do plants like music?

I have heard that some types of music have been shown to benefit plant growth. Anyone out there that can validate this?

I dont think plants have ears.
ill keep reading to see if you get any good answers. i would think its not a significant difference if any at all.

i saw an episode of mythbusters once where they did that and they put a bunch of plants in their own little greenhouses with different styles of music playing and i think the one listening to death metal did the best, i think they concluded that it was all the bass hits in it or something...and they did on

That could make sense. maybe the bass vibrations make it thicker or something.

i dont know why it posted in the middle of a sentence but whatever...they did another episode where they proved plants had feelings and based on wether you were real nice or mean to the plant it reacted differently, they used a polygraph to determine this, i thought it was pretty interesting...

Go on youtube and type in Mythbusters experiment with plants and music... Proven that plant will grow vigerously to soft music. I did this to my ladys in veg for 5 weeks and just look at them now...

your supposed to be nice to them cuz they hooked the polygraph up to the leafs and thought good and then bad things about them plant and it only reacted to them bad things, i think, im sure you can find it on youtube....

offcorse. Sound is vibrations, as is vision, basically everything is made of vibrations, every matter is even made by vibrations. Positive vibrations leads to positive benefits :) Its all about frequency and harmony :)
