Do you feed your plant according to your LIGHT or LABEL

Almost all of the nutreient factories including my choice(Advanced Nutrients) assume in their nutrient calculators and feeding schedules that we are using 1000 Watt Bulbs from the first day of .


Honestly, I have found even Advanced Nutrient's Light Feeding schedule too strong for most of my plants except for indica dominant strains and yet I use 1000 watt HPS in my setup.


This is especially the case for sativa dominant strains that begin to show the signs of tip burning as soon as i follow the Light feeding schedule.

In cases of organic fertilizers like Super tea or Iguana Juice their schedule is DEFINITELY too strong.

So question is : Do you feed your plants according to LIGHT or LABEL!!!???

i have the same problem with Fox Farm during the first 2 weeks. now i know what to expect from my last 2 grows and next grow i will be cutting down the ppm and slowly raising it to fit my plants needs and not my wants.

Feed your plants what they are telling you to feed them. Well if this is your first grow then go by the label. But start out 1/8 strength.

Do you mean if I am more experienced ,then my plants use more nutrient than if I am a roockie???!!!

just kidding, but I like your 1/8 strenght. It is close to my calculation.
