Do you have a preference for any weed strain when cooking & why?

I am wondering if people used the natural flavor for particular recipes. E.g., would green crack make for a better tasting mint dish than say skunk?

I'm also wondering if the high is different from cooking than from vaping or smoking the strain.

I don't think so. I switched to anything I make is made with oil or some form of extract a couple years ago. No more chlorophyll taste. My gummies, cookies, banana bread, etc, all simply taste like the food itself.

Pretty much what I expected but I remember watching parts of a high-end cannabis cooking show where there seemed to be incorporating the taste or terpene taste into the dish. After cooking it they sat around eating it & I assume pretended to enjoy the taste. "Mmm Very hearty earthy essence.", meaning "This tastes like dirt."

I'm curious because you seem to be an experienced baker, do you smoke much any longer or stick to the edibles?

Maybe if there wasn't a lot of heat involved or for a very short duration, otherwise I think your terps are literally gone with the wind.

Oh ya, I primarily smoke. I make edibles for me and some others, but only really eat edibles at night before bed. I sleep like a baby because of it lol

I think mоѕt аbоut the strains now-a-days are сrоѕѕоvеrѕ, аnd rеgаrdlеѕѕ оf whеthеr they aren't, we сurrеntlу realize thаt terpenes аrе additionally ѕіgnіfісаnt. I realize they hаvе been rеаrіng for еxрlісіt сhаrасtеrіѕtісѕ аnd еxресt thе mоrе uр to date аѕѕоrtmеntѕ аrе a superior еԛuіlіbrіum of саnnаbіnоіdѕ, as wе bеgіn to оnсе аgаіn introduce thе mеdѕ back into саnnаbіѕ thаt wеrе taken оut, fоr a ѕuреrіоr buzz.
