does 24 hrs of light cause stress of hemis?

nope nothing wrong with 24/7 we can debate this all day. if anyone got a hermi this way thats what you get for using unstable genetics.

I haven't seen this as an issue and I run 24/0. You can blame anything isolated for a hermie, but generally from my knowledge it all boils down to genetics.

the things that will make a plant hermi is heat stress. a light leak when you go to 12/12 in the dark peroid. stress on the plant becouse lack of water. any thing that would stress a plant can make it hermi. but 24/7 should be no prob. just watch out for it being to hot. other then that you will be fine as long as you keep your plants happy. bongsmilie

i would say anything that is too far out of the ordinary will stress the plant. every plant expects a light AND dark cycle. nobody expects someone to be awake 24 hours a day.. why would you do that to your poor plant?

I just don't think it makes much of a difference in growth doing 18/6 or 24/7 but it will run you up a higher bill..
