does everyone flush

I was under the impression that flushing makes quite a difference in the taste and that everyone does it. I'm coming up to my first harvest and will definately be flushing, but the thing that got me wondering about it is that in the growFAQ it says that flushing probably doesn't make a difference, I didn't read it all because it all seemed quite technical but was wondering if some people don't do it because they notice no difference? What about people who grow organically do you flush??

didn't know that it affected how it burns, I've been smoking some weed recently that is dry enough but my spliff just keeps on going out all the time, possibly that then

It does affect the burn.
It takes nutrients 21-28 days to fully cycle through the plant.
stop feeding, just water for the last three weeks.
the plant will feed on the sugars they have stored in the leaves.

you just stop giving nutrients for the last three weeks and there would be no need to flush?
