does hot water destroy the good stuff in making a homemade tea

i dont have a air stone so i use a submerge pump and still get a lot of foam and this stuff stink like hell when brewing i use hot water in a 5 gallon jug with hot water by the time 24hr roll around and i open the top the water be really hot does this destroy any of the good stuff or mirco or whatever i am brewing it for or break it down more are is this a good thing:eyesmoke:

A pump will actually work better than an airstone. Splashing water delivers way more air! The heat in your tea is from all the bacteria being bacteria. The foam is good too. Make sure you don't seal it tight, you want plenty of fresh oxygen around the tea.
