Does it smell?

Depends on the plant. Like if you have an 8 foot white russian you would smell it a football field away. Go with somthing with low oder like Northern Lights.

In some strain descriptions it will state if its realy stinky or not so stinky.

a good rule of thumb is..............HIDE YOUR GANJA PLANTS!!!!! Don't plant one where people will be walking by it.....just a suggestion good luck!

If odour is a problem you want something with a short flowering period (thats when it smells), and of coarse a low odour strain.
I had a haze plant at the bottom of my yard I could smell from the kitchen.

don't be lazy. get that plant far from people. work hard and get good results. read alot, buy a good book, it helps alot if your serious about trying to grow.

Last year was my first grow. I started a couple of plants in my house until about theres 4th set of true leaves which is a very easy accomplishment. After that I put them outside, I explored all day on my four-wheeler until I found a great spot. Don't worry, Eventually that spot shows up. Depending where you live you need to remind yourself of hunters,Joggers, Mountain bike enthusiasts, Dog walkers, and of course people like me, Four wheeler riders. Usually they smoke and would have no problem grabbing your stash, But don't worry im not like that :) I just like some good homegrown burn without any bandits fuckin with it. Last year was a great success of a total of 100 plants spread over the plain. :p

Firs time do you tend to the plants often? Does it rain enough where you are to get away with long time away? Did you plant all clones to avoid males speeding their crap?

Random outdoor grows seem like fun :)
